​JOAN GETZ has performed regularly in clubs, restaurants, private parties and corporate events throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.  Her repertoire features the Great American Songbook.  In concert situations, with emphasis on a favorite composer, her repartee engages the audience with the little known stories about the songwriter. Paying tribute to the great songwriters demonstrates her deep roots in this genre with it's beautiful melodies & infectious swing.  With her love of Bossa Nova, Blues & Soul, as well as Jazz compositions, her songbook is extensive and her choices always embrace simple truths about life.
